Back On The Tropical Blue

New Caledonia, South Pacific, November 2023

When fall has arrived in the northern hemisphere, spring is back in the south. Although the differences between the seasons are not by far as big as back home in Scandinavia, there are still many seasonal signs to admire in thriving nature.

Spring normally means annual boat maintenance...

After close to 4 weeks in the boat yard, we are ready with the work and, as always, very eager to get back in the water.

The vast, blue lagoon and its magical creatures call us back for more salty adventures!

The island of Tenia welcomes us with its lovely scenery...

This island is located next to the barrier reef and is a great spot for numerous activities.

The calm mornings are precious as the trade winds continue to be strong most of the days. These southeasterly winds offer, in turn, great opportunities for more play, either with kite or wing.

Our aquatic neighbours are many. Only a shorter swim from our anchorage is needed to meet marvelous creatures of various kind.

Always as exciting when jumping into the water, one never now who or what is waiting beneath the surface…
